Penn State Altoona softball is 4-4 this season. This is Feathers’ second career AMCC Player of the Week selection, and it is her first this season. This season, Feathers currently leads the AMCC in batting average (.560), slugging percentage (1.120), home runs (3), and total bases (28) while being second in on-base percentage (.621) and third in hits (14), doubles (3), triples (1), and RBI (7). 545 on-base percentage and slugged 1.105. 474 (9-for-19) with seven runs scored, six RBI, three home runs, three doubles, two walks, and one hit by pitch. Feathers finished her week by combining to go 2-for-8 with three RBI, three runs scored, and two home runs against Bridgewater State University and Centenary University on Thursday. On Wednesday, in games against Ursinus and Immaculata University, she finished the day with a 5-for-8 performance at the plate with three runs batted in, two runs scored, one home run, and one double. In games against Alvernia University and Ursinus College last Monday, Feathers combined to go 2-for-3 at the plate with two doubles, two runs scored, two walks, and one hit by pitch. Feathers had a strong week at the plate for the Lions in her team’s final six games in the Myrtle Beach-area Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic. Penn State Altoona utility player Cameryn Feathers of Martinsburg was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference’s Player of the Week in softball on Monday, March 13.
